I have been writing a lot about keywords lately! Best way to be search engine friendly without having to fool search engine is to link your own sites with key words. Now that may sound very difficult to do, but it is not.

For example, I have been targeting the keyword Make money by blogging , so in some of my pages, posts I use the phrase “Make Money by Blogging” to link to my domain www.bloggeradda.com! This is an very rudimentary way of linking to my blog using keywords! But I am quite sure, it gives you idea about keyword linking without explaining much!

Here are few tips about keyword linking:-

1. Linking of sites, pages should be always relevant. It means if your blog is about cinema, you should not give link in your blog to embedded systems. That is in normal case. But if you write an article about using embedded system in blog about cinema or films, it may not sound relevant, though it is relevant. Avoid those kind of linking.

2. Always link to relevant sites which has more visitors, higher Google page rank. Probabability is the webmaster may find visitors coming from your blog and may find the link you have given in your blog! And he might give a link back to your blog too! Have faith in good things about fellow bloggers.

3. Never copy and paste blog posts from other blogs. Google or any other search engines are smart enough to find which is the original copy! Instead you should copy few lines and put them in a block quote, and give a link back! Once you are caught copying others post, you not only lose respect, but you may face legal action too!

Important points for the bloggers.

1. Instead of blogging on 3rd party like blogger etc. try to install the blog on your own domain. Wordpress is the best. (I have the same running)
2. Keep the design of the blog very simple and plain, but it should be aesthetic and user friendly.
3. Install all necessary plugins and widgets as possible – Technorati, Translations, SEO, Feedburner etc. for maximum user and seo friendliness.
4. Keep the blogs posts long (not less than 400 words), short blogs are fair but professional blog postings are quite long.
5. User proper tags in you posts.
6. Link your Facebook, Linkedin or Twitter profile with the blog so that they can be syndicated.
7. Write post by your name and if you have several others create separate account for all of them.
8. Install unique google analytics on the blog irrespective of the main domain, this will keep you tracking the blog more effectively.
9. Do not populate your blog with loads of banner / flash ads or junk advertising. Use proper advertising methods as widespread advertising could lead to huge bounces on you blog.
10. Ping your blog whenever you do postings.
11. Always syndicate posts in your social media profiles – Facebook, twitter, stumbleupon etc.
12. Offer RSS subscription via a button and a link as well.
13. The most important segment of the blog is content make it unique and advanced. But remember always write blogs in a simplified manner as your readers are across the globe who are not too much fluent in English.
14. User Interactive images and statistical information on the blogs whenever you are giving the instances.
15. Syndicating your official videos on the blog is another plus.
